The University of Edinburgh
Founded in 1582, The University of Edinburgh is a leading institution for research in small vessel disease, dementia and stroke. The research team is based within the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences in the College of Medicine, highly integrated in the local Edinburgh Neuroscience community. The key studies of The University of Edinburgh SVD Research as part of the Transatlantic Network of Research Excellence include Mild Stroke Study 3 (MSS3), The Brain Changes in Sleep Apneea study and using retinal imaging to understand pathophysiology of small vessel stroke and dementia, attended by our interdisciplinary research groups.
